Officials in India have begun relocating crocodiles from the site of the world’s tallest statue.
The 182m statue of independence hero Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel was inaugurated last October.
Around 300 crocodiles are being removed from a reservoir next to the structure to allow a seaplane service for visitors.
Conservationists have criticised the plan, claiming the government is disturbing the animals’ habitat and putting their lives at risk.
