A student at Delhi University hung herself over alleged threats from her lover of releasing private videos online.
The police found a suicide note left by the 21-year-old, blaming the death on a man identified as Ved Prakash.
Police believe that Prakash demanded that the victim leave her studies and her family to come and visit him and that if she did not comply he would upload private videos and pictures onto social media.
Investigators have now registered a case of abetment to suicide.
