An elderly Karachi man has died following an altercation with police.
Local reports say the police raided the man’s property in the Ibrahim Haideri area to arrest his son and brother-in law over suspected bicycle thefts.
It is believed the man attempted to intervene and died as a result of a fall.
The death caused protests by angered residents in the local area.
An inquiry into the incident has been launched.
