At least 11 people have died after a bus plunged into a gorge in north east India.
The incident took place in the Lunglei district of Mizoram state. Reports say the bus was not being driven by the driver at the time, as he was taking a break, but was taken over by a “helper”.
It is believed around 19 other people were also injured in the incident and that most of the victims are from the Siaha district.
