Parts of an airport in Dhaka were evacuated after a fire broke out in one of the terminals.
No casualties have been reported.
The blaze began this afternoon, 11 August, in the Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport. Local reports claim the fire originated at the Air India office on the second floor of Terminal 2.
Sources say over 10 firefighting units were deployed to the scene to tackle the blaze.
It is believed flights have been either delayed or cancelled whilst the situation is brought under control. It is a particularly busy time of the year for the airport, with extra traffic from Hajj pilgrims setting off to Saudi Arabia.
Initial speculations are that the fire may have been caused by an electrical short circuit.
