A Pakistan court has cleared five suspected members of the Taliban of conspiracy to murder the former Prime Minister Benazir Bhutto.
Bhutto was killed in a gun and bomb attack after an election rally in December 2007.
She had served twice as prime minister for Pakistan and was the first female leader of an Islamic nation.
Acquitting the five men, the court cited a lack of evidence. The judges jailed two policemen for negligence in failing to prevent the killing and declared ex-President Pervez Musharraf, who has been charged in the case, a fugitive from justice.
Musharraf has been living in self-imposed exile since last year and denies having any role in the killing.
