Five people have been killed in a crash involving a helicopter from the Indian air force.
The crash took place this morning, 6 October, in the north-eastern state of Arunachal Pradesh, killing five military personnel inside.
A sixth passenger survived the crash in the Mi-17 V5 helicopter but is believed to be in a critical condition in hospital.
Local reports claim the crew were taking part in a maintenance mission near to the India-China border when the crash occurred.
An inquiry has been ordered to look into the incident.
