Former prime minister of Bangladesh Zia Khaleda has been handed an extra seven-year jail term in a corruption case.
Three others including Harris Chowdhury, former political secretary to the then PM Khaleda, were also given the same sentences in connection with the illegal use of funds from the Zia Charitable Trust.
Khaleda was sentenced in February to prison for five years in a corruption case for embezzlement of international funds donated to Zia Orphanage Trust.
