Police in India have arrested four people in connection with the assault of Kashmiri’s in the north Indian city of Lucknow.
The Times of India reports that two dry fruit vendors from the Kashmir region were attacked. It is the latest in a series of cases in which Kashmiris across India have been targeted following the Pulwama suicide attack in which 40 Indian paramilitary soldiers were killed.
Some local media reports one of the attackers, who has a previous criminal record, claims to be president of a fringe right-wing group.
