Gunmen stormed a hospital in Kashmir and freed a visiting prisoner.
Naveed Jutt, a former commander in the Lashkar-e-Taiba militant group, was one of six prisoners taken to the hospital in Srinagar for a medical check-up when the incident took place.
Two Indian police officers were killed in the attack.
The police have said a manhunt has been launched to capture Jutt, who had been incarcerated in India since 2014.
