Police in India have arrested 17 men for allegedly raping an 11-year-old with hearing difficulties in Chennai.
The men are accused of sexually assaulting the girl in an apartment block over the course of seven months.
A video circulated online appears to show a group of lawyers beating some of the suspects in court, as public anger and shock at the child’s assault spiralled.
Authorities say they are still looking out for more suspects involved in the crime.
