A huge haul of heroin has been seized off the Indian coast.
Indian authorities have detained a massive 1,500kg (3,300lb) haul of heroin from a ship off the coast of the western state of Gujarat.
It is estimated the narcotics were worth almost $550m (£420m).
A spokesman from the Navy described it as "the largest single haul of narcotics to date".
The merchant vessel, on which the drugs were found, has now been taken to the western city of Porbandar.
The UN Office on Drugs and Crime says large shipments of heroin from Afghanistan are smuggled across the Indian Ocean to east and southern Africa.
