The death toll from the dust storms across northern India has risen to 125.
High wind speeds and lightning wreaked havoc across Rajasthan and Uttar Pradesh on Wednesday, with power disrupted and houses destroyed.
Authorities said the death toll is the highest from such storms in at least 20 years and it is believed it could still rise.
India's Meteorological Department said people “should be alert” as more storms were likely across a wider area before the weekend.
