A policewoman in India has been praised after she breastfed an abandoned newborn baby, possibly saving its life.
The child was spotted near to a construction site in Bangalore. The police officer has recently given birth herself and said she felt like her own child was crying when she attended the scene.
The newborn has been hailed by local residents as the "government's baby".
