A politician in India was stabbed whilst travelling through an airport.
The Times of India reports that YSR Congress party president YS Jaganmohan Reddy was injured in a knife attack at Visakhapatnam international airport.
It is believed Mr Reddy was approached by a man who works at a food stall at the airport, identified by police as Srinivas. The assailant offered his victim a cup of coffee before lunging with a blade in his hand.
Mr Reddy suffered shoulder injuries and the attacker was quickly detained by police.
