India’s Supreme Court will revisit its ruling to allow women of any age to enter Sabarimala temple.
On 28 September the court had ended a centuries-old ban on women between 10 and 50-years-old entering the holy site in Kerala.
Large-scale protests have taken place since the ruling to stop women completing the journey, with multiple arrests reported.
The Supreme Court has now announced it will open hearings into its decision on 22 January.
