Two doctors in India have been fired after a newborn baby was mistakenly declared dead.
The doctors were sacked by the privately-run Max Hospital in Delhi following public outrage over the incident.
On 30 November a child was delivered stillborn at the hospital and the baby’s twin was pronounced dead a few hours later.
However, the parents found that the baby was alive while they were on their way to his funeral.
A government inquiry into the incident is ongoing.
