Indian man taking selfie hit by train

An Indian man taking a selfie recording was hit by an oncoming train.

T Siva, a gym trainer in Hyderabad, survived the collision but has suffered serious head injuries. The video he has taken has since been viewed thousands of times on social media.

He is due to appear in court and has been fined Rs. 500.

This incident is the latest in a deadly trend across India.

In October 2017 three teenagers were run over by a train while trying to take a selfie in Karnataka state and two others died earlier in the year on railway tracks in Delhi.
