Officials in India say a Buddhist monk was killed by a leopard as he meditated in a forest.
Rahul Walke had been "meditating under a tree" in the Tadoba forest in Maharashtra state, which is a protected tiger reserve.
Forest officials said they had warned the monks, who have a temple inside the reserve, against going too far inside the forest.
It is understood authorities are now attempting to capture the animal.
