An Indian politician has been killed in a suspected militant attack.
11 people, including a sitting National People’s Party legislator for Arunachal Pradesh state, were killed in an alleged ambush, initially believed to have been carried out by Naga separatists.
Tirong Aboh represented Khonsa West in the Tirap district of the state.
The Hindustan Times reports that a military operation is underway in the area to find the suspects involved.
