An Indian security force personnel was killed in an alleged attack by Maoist militants.
Five others were injured after an improvised explosive device was detonated and gun fire exchanged in Chhattisgarh's Dantewada district.
The paramilitary force returned fire but no details have been released of casualties on the side of the alleged militants.
