    Indian woman arrested for organising killing of sexually abusive son

    An Indian woman has been arrested for allegedly paying for her son to be killed.

    The mother, from the Bhayandar area of Mumbai, claims her 22-year-old son sexually abused her for over six months.

    It is alleged she paid Rs. 50,000 to an older son from a previous marriage to kill his step-brother.

    On 21 August the body of a youth, now identified as Ramcharan Dwivedi, was found in a quarry with stab wounds to the neck.

    The mother and son have been taken into custody on suspicion of murder, along with two other accomplices.
