India’s ruling party has told opposition politicians to accept “defeat with grace” after a number of exit polls predicted a comfortable majority.
The BJP has dismissed concerns from rival parties that have not only rejected the exit polls but have also raised concerns of vote fraud.
Opposition leaders have demanded more transparency in the counting process after a number of videos, allegedly showing Electronic Voting Machines (EVMs) being tampered with, went viral on social media.
Vote counting gets underway tomorrow, Tuesday 23 May.
