A Panel of government officials in Mumbai have today revealed reports which prove over 100 engineers were involved in Rs 350-cr roadwork scam.
The detailed investigation suggests that BMC engineers and contractors were allowed to cut corners, saddling the city with poor quality roads.
The inquiry committee was headed by Deputy Municipal Commissioner Ramesh Bambale who is pushing for all those involved to be blacklisted for seven years
Senior civic officials said that this would be the first time that action would be taken against a hundred engineers all in one go.
