Islamabad police file two cases of physical abuse

The Islamabad police in Pakistan have confirmed two separate cases of alleged physical abuse and molestation which they believe to be connected.

The reports are being investigated by a number of official organisations as they are both concerning minor girls.

One of the reports filed at the central Noon police station is of physical abuse against a nine-year-old girl.

The second report was made at the Sabzi Mandi police station against a suspect for trying to assault and molest an 11-year-old maid.

Police have arrested an unidentified man who reportedly fled the scene after physically assaulting the minors.

A spokesperson for the Noon Police confirmed they are liaising with other Police stations to assist with the investigation which is currently on going.
