The launch of the Indian Space Research Organisation's Gisat-1 satellite has been postponed due to technical reasons.
The ISRO said that a new launch date for Gisat-1 will be announced in due course.
Gisat-1 was scheduled for launch on Thursday, March 5 from the second launchpad of Satish Dhawan Space Centre in Sriharikota.
Breaking the news, the ISRO released a statement on Twitter, saying: "The launch of Gisat-1 onboard GSLV-F10, planned for March 05, 2020, is postponed due to technical reasons.
“A revised launch date will be informed in due course.”
