Authorities in Pakistan have revealed “almost all” banks in the country were affected by a cyber security breach.
The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) said data was stolen from most of Pakistan’s banks, with reports of money being taken from accounts by hackers based in foreign countries.
FIA said meetings are being called with all of the banks affected and that the attacks “made it quite clear” that security systems need to be improved.
