Malala Yousafzai has returned to Pakistan for the first time since she was shot by Taliban militants.
The 20-year-old Nobel Peace Prize winner and vocal human rights activist was shot in the head for campaigning for female education in 2012.
She arrived under tight security at Islamabad's Benazir Bhutto International Airport overnight and soon after met Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi.
Her trip is expected to last four days, though officials say details have been kept secret "in view of the sensitivity".
