A man was arrested in connection with violence against Hindus in Bangladesh.
Tito Chandra Roy, himself a Hindu, was taken into custody yesterday, 14 November. It is alleged he posted an inflammatory Facebook post, sparking violence against the Hindu community in Rangpur over the weekend.
Local reports claim around 100 people have so far been arrested over the arson attacks and clashes with police, which left one person dead.
