A man was killed and a police officer injured in a motorcycle shootout in Karachi.
A suspected robber died in an exchange of fire with officers after two men riding a motorcycle failed to stop in Karachi's Dalmia area.
It is alleged the two assailants opened fire first.
Police claim the suspect who survived was taken into custody and confessed to involvement in the killing of a student on 14 March.
Officials say they are still searching for a third suspect.
