A man was stabbed to death in front of shoppers in a busy shopping mall in West Delhi.
The victim, identified only as Sajjam, a man in his mid-20s, was exiting the West Gate mall in West Delhi's Rajouri Garden, when he was approached by three men who stabbed him six times.
He was rushed to Guru Gobind Singh Hospital but was pronounced dead on arrival. Doctors said he died from excessive blood loss as the suspects had stabbed him in the heart three times, leading to a puncture in the organ.
Officers are reviewing CCTV footage of the incident and have already identified one of the attackers.
It is believed police are still trying to trace the victim’s family, who they suspect are from the Moti Bagh area.
