Mother and daughters found dead at Lahore graveyard

Police in Pakistan said a woman and two of her daughters were found dead at a graveyard in Lahore.

The discovery was made in Chan Shah graveyard in the Shah Bagh area of the city. A third girl was also found with injuries. She has been taken to hospital and police say once she is stable they will record a statement.

A police official stated the woman's husband — who had married six times — was killed 15 days ago in Sheikhupura. He added that two of his former wives had confessed to his murder.

Based on initial enquiries, the police believe the mother and her daughters had been killed over a family dispute.
