Narendra Modi has made history by becoming the first Indian Prime Minister to visit Israel.
Modi arrived at Tel Aviv airport yesterday, 4 July, and was received with a warm embrace from his Israeli counterpart, Benjamin Netanyahu.
It is expected the two nations will agree military and cyber security deals.
Over the years India has become a large and regular customer of arms from the Jewish state, as Mr Modi’s country works to modernise its military.
Mr Modi is also expected to meet Moshe Holtzberg, an Israeli boy whose parents were killed when terrorists opened fire in a Jewish centre in Mumbai in 2008.
