At least nine people have been killed in a blast at a steel plant in India.
The explosion took place at the state-run Steel Authority of India Limited’s Bhilai plant in the Durg district of Chhattisgarh state.
It is believed 12 other people have been injured.
Hindustan Times reports the cause of the blast is still being ascertained but it is believed to have taken place in a gas pipeline.
