Pakistan Air Force jet crashes during training

A Pakistan Air Force jet has crashed in the northeastern province of Punjab on Friday during a training mission.

Regarding the incident, the Pakistan Air Force released a statement saying: "A Pakistan Air Force Mirage aircraft, on a routine operational training mission, crashed near Shorkot today.

“The pilot ejected safely and no loss of life or property has been reported on the ground.”

Currently the cause of the crash remains unknown and a investigation is ongoing.

The Pakistan Air Force later revealed a board of inquiry was ordered by the air headquarters to determine the cause of the accident.
