Pakistan issues new ‘India spy’ video

A new video of imprisoned former Indian navy officer, Kulbhushan Jadhav, has been released by Pakistan.

Jadhav is currently facing a death sentence for spying against Pakistan, an accusation denied by India.

The video has been released amid controversy over a visit by his mother and wife in December. Indian authorities said the two complained about being “humiliated” by Pakistan during their visit and were concerned for Jadhav’s health.

However, the footage released by Pakistan’s foreign office shows him claiming his relatives were "shouted at" by the Indian diplomat accompanying them.

India's Ministry of External Affairs dismissed the video as a "propagandistic" exercise.
