Prime Minister of Pakistan Imran Khan has announced the upcoming launch of the five-year ‘Green and Clean Pakistan’ campaign.
Khan said the initiative will be launched on Saturday 13 October and aims to create a “new mindset” towards cleanliness in the country.
Amongst the plans are the introduction of lessons around cleanliness to the school curriculum and districts performing well being given cash awards with those falling behind to be penalised.
