Pakistan’s 16-year-old paceman Naseem Shah became the youngest ever cricket player to take a test hat-trick during a test match against Bangladesh at the weekend.
During the third day of the first test in Rawalpindi, Shah’s contribution saw the visitors fall from 124-2 to 126-6 in their second innings, bowling out Nazmul Shanto, Taijul Islam and Mahmudullah.
At the end of day three, Bangladesh closed on 126 runs in their second innings, still 86 runs short of Pakistan’s first-innings total of 445.
