Residents of various localities in Hyderabad took to the streets in protest against continuous power outages.
According to local sources, transformers in different areas of the city have been out of order for the past several days.
Residents have repeatedly asked the Hyderabad Electric Supply Company to address the problem but have complained about not receiving a positive response.
Frustrated mobs blocked roads by burning tyres whilst also chanting slogans against the supply company.
