A human rights activist and Member of the National Assembly in Pakistan has been arrested in connection with an attack on a military post.
Mohsin Dawar, a prominent member of the Pashtun Tahafuz Movement (PTM), is alleged of instigating an attack on military personnel in North Waziristan on Sunday 26 May.
Three people were killed and 15 injured.
According to authorities Dawar and another PTM leader, Ali Wazir, started the attack. Wazir and eight others have also been arrested.
The PTM denied that the group opened fire and accused the army of initiating violence.
