A court in Pakistan has ordered a pond to be closed after its water was being sold illegally.
Two cement factories had been supplied with the water in Punjab's Chakwal district. While ordering the closure of the pond, the court also directed the environment department to submit weekly reports regarding environmental pollution in the area.
The judge stated that water is a natural resource which cannot be sold for monetary gains.
