Pakistan’s National Accountability Bureau has conducted a raid in connection with the leader of the opposition.
The team entered a property, believed to be owned by Shehbaz Sharif. Dawn News reports the move is part of an investigation into a case of assets beyond known income against his son, PML-N party leader Hamza Shehbaz.
Hamza is leader of the opposition in the Punjab Assembly.
The bureau is quoted as saying it carried out the raid because Hamza was allegedly "not cooperating" in the case.
A PML-N spokesperson said the bureau came to the residence "without any permission, warrant or intimation".
