Rejected man stabs woman to death in Bangalore

A man who had his marriage proposal rejected stabbed the woman to death in Bangalore.

On Tuesday, 11 April 2017, the attacker, a 30-year-old man identified as Girish, then injured the grandmother of the victim.

It is believed that Shobha, a 24-year-old from south-west Bangalore, was washing clothes in front of her house at around 1pm when Girish approached her and proposed marriage. When she refused the assailant then stabbed the victim seven times.

It is reported that her grandmother is responding to treatment at hospital.
