An academic has been killed in an explosion at a university in India.
A hydrogen cylinder blast at a laboratory in the southern city of Bengaluru killed a researcher and critically injured three others.
It is understood the explosion took place during an experiment at the Laboratory for Hypersonic and Shock Wave Research at the Indian Institute of Sciences.
