Seven suspected terrorists arrested in Punjab

Seven suspected terrorists were arrested in an operation in the Punjab region of Pakistan.

Officials claim 20 other suspects were also apprehended in raids across Lahore, Attock and Dera Ghazi Khan.

A large quantity of explosives, automatic weapons and ammunition were recovered in the operations, which were carried out alongside police and intelligence agencies.

The Inter-Services Public Relations department has stated that those arrested have been taken into custody on suspicion with being affiliated with the Pakistani Taliban.
