Prime Minister of Bangladesh Sheikh Hasina has been sworn in for her third consecutive term.
President Abdul Hamid administered the oath of office to the 71-year-old and to a batch of new ministers.
It is Hasina’s fourth term in office, after having also served as prime minister from 1996-2001.
The ceremony comes following an election marred by violence in which at least 17 people were killed.
The opposition called for a new election, accusing the victors of a crackdown and vote-rigging.
