Six people have died after a suspected poisonous gas leak at an Indian factory.
It is understood five other people have also developed serious health complications in the incident at a steel mill in Tadipatri in Andhra Pradesh state’s Anantapur district.
Reports say the mill belongs to Brazilian firm Gerdau.
The building was immediately shut and authorities are working to identify the exact nature of the gas and the reasons for the leakage.
