Six people have died and one person has been injured in an explosion at a factory in Karachi.
Dawn News reports that a boiler blew up in a Honda Atlas factory. Seven workers received severe burns, from which six have died despite hospital treatment.
Sindh’s chief minister ordered an investigation into the reasons behind the boiler's explosion and asked when the last inspection had taken place on the factory premises.
It is understood an initial probe revealed the explosion may have occurred due to a gas leak.
Authorities claim a case will be registered against the factory owners.
