There has been outrage in India after a six-year-old girl was brutally raped and murdered.
Several people have been detained for questioning in connection with the attack, which took place in the northern state of Haryana.
It is suspected the girl was abducted on Friday 8 December close to her home. Her body was found on Sunday 10 December, causing protests in the local area.
Three of the father’s relatives were detained but no arrests have yet been made.
