Student kills college principal in Pakistan

A student shot dead his college principal in Pakistan.

The grade 12 pupil fired six shots at the principal in the northern city of Charsadda on Monday 22 January.

Local reports say the offender had been remonstrated by the victim for skipping school to attend the sit-in of religious parties in Islamabad's Faizabad area in November.

In a video capturing the moment the student is led away by police he claims the college principal had committed blasphemy, though it remains unclear what prompted him to make such an accusation.
